Hey yo lovelies~
There have been a lotta wolfies making/using signatures that are too big! :D
So I decided to make a thread about the right sized signature pic! ^^

So this is what the rules say:
"About Profiles
When customizing your profile, please do not have signatures bigger than 800x250, and please keep in mind that animated images make pages load longer. Do not use any screen names containing mature/sexual/racist content. If your account is going against this rule you will receive a PM and be given 7 days from when it is sent to comply or staff will change it themselves."
So 800x250 pixels = width 800 pixels, height 250 pixels :>
Here is a base for you guys with the right size:
You do not need to credit me for using it!
Use that as a base = color on top of it in programs such as
Gimp (Free to download, just Google it), Paint Tool Sai and Photoshop! ^^
Remember to save it into a .gif, .jpg, .jpeg or into .png file! ^^
Now, There is also a simple way, tho it could make the picture to look weird,
since it stretches it and squeezes it, but by using code:

if you know the size of your picture, you can shrink the size of it if you know how to do simple math.
As example:
This picture's size is 580 × 385
the difference between the height and the width is 195 px.
So decrease both the height and width by 195 px --> 385 x 190

This is how you can also do the math, to figure out the exact amount that the image needs to be made smaller in order for it to fit the guidelines. For this you need a little math, but here is how you do it:
This image is 620 pixels wide, and 465 pixels tall in its full size. It is too large for signature.
The guidelines give you 800px as the limitation for width, and 250px as limitation for height.
First to see which of the dimensions are over the size limit, you can simply look at the numbers.
620 pixels wide is okay, since it's below 800.
465 pixels tall is not okay, it's over 250 pixels.
To see how much you need to shrink 465 pixels for it to be 250 pixels, you simply:
465 - 250 = 215
So the answer is, by shrinking both dimensions of this specific image (height and width) for 215 pixels, you get the image to be within the size limitation:
250 pixels height, 405 pixels width
