The Expression of the Soul (Poem)

Soooo I haven't written a poem in awhile now!
Basically, what inspired this poem is actually a couple of conversations that took place about how most artists don't feel as good about their art as they really are.
This is basically about how I generally feel about art. I feel that it is a beautiful expression of the soul, and it is a big part of what makes us human.
I don't feel that this is my best poem, so please suggest anything I could possibly change!

Anyhow, here is the poem:
How beautiful is the light,
the smile,
the laughter behind your eyes.
Unseen to the plain
naked eye,
yet free like the uncaged bird,
flowing to the rhythm of the dance;
Laughing,
moving,
and singing
to the love and joy
instilled in others.
How beautiful,
how painful,
how tragic
is the sorrow,
the unshed tears,
the fury behind your eyes.
Hopeless,
yet vehemently shown
from pen to paper,
from brush to canvas.
The hidden,
the unsaid emotions
etched only in pen,
seen only in vibrant, or somber colors,
that which makes the heart stand still.
How beautiful is the expression of the soul,
the beauty,
the movement,
the feeling
that speaks without words.
The song
that stirs the memories of the heart,
or the poem
that speaks to the lone and searching soul.
The fire that ignites
within our hearts,
leaving the world aglow;
the feeling which sparks
the flame of inspiration
is what makes us all alive.
